Perhaps this is an odd post to resume blogging with, but I've committed myself to getting back to this blog, and this is the thing on my mind at the moment. So here goes.
I am *obsessed* with naan. We have naan nearly every night with dinner. I don't know why I even bother making anything else because all I really care about is the naan. I even resort to the age old method of "saving the best for last" and eat everything else on the plate first (For that matter, I typically always eat the least favorite component first and gradually make my way to my favorite. This has probably revealed more about my idiosyncrasies than necessary...or interesting.).
What do I do with this naan?
I spray it with olive oil spray (an expensive, yet stupendous invention worthy of its very own blog post). Then I sprinkle with kosher salt, garlic powder, and anise seed. Pop in a 425 oven for 7ish minutes. Remove and devour.
Really, I only eat the meat and veg that accompany this because my momma taught me to clean my plate. If no one was here to see it, I would eat a meal of "naanthing" but naan. (Cheesy, I know, but how do you resist an opportunity like that???)

Yay naan! I made pizza with naan last week. Do you make naan from scratch? (I've been thinking about trying to bake it myself). (this is Liz of Liz & Emma from hvma moms group)
We have naan pizza all the time! No, I haven't made it from scratch. I really should give it a try though. I had to take to making my own granola and biscotti once I looked at how much money I was spending on them. Looks like naan may be headed in the same direction. If I have a success, I will send you the recipe.
